GoSafe Enforcement - Coronovirus Pandemic
The strategic aim of GoSafe is to make people safer on Welsh roads by reducing casualties and saving lives.
The country is currently in the throes of a pandemic, however the road safety risks we work tirelessly to reduce have not been removed and the enforcement of our sites is still key to our work in protecting the public and saving lives.
Our enforcement vans offer an isolated work environment and where our staff are fit, well and able to carry out the role they are being paid to do, they will carry on. Our staff passionately believe in the work they do in reducing casualties on our roads, and now more than ever we must ensure road casualties do not increase and that the public can continue to travel safely.
GoSafe have reviewed all our mobile enforcement sites and withdrawn some sites where there is a risk of close proximity to the public.
Government advice does not contradict our position and until the advice changes GoSafe will continue in our work of keeping Welsh roads safe.
