Community Speed Watch Wales

*** SITES TO BE CONFIRMED ***

Are you concerned about the speed of traffic in your neighbourhood?

South Wales Police are looking for volunteers from local communities to get involved in a new Community Speed Watch scheme.

Community Speed Watch is a new initiative from South Wales Police who will provide members of the public with equipment and training in order to carry out speed monitoring operations alongside Police Officers and Community Support Officers on roads within their local community.

Drivers of vehicles found exceeding the speed limit by Speed Watch volunteers will be sent a letter by South Wales Police highlighting the importance of driving appropriately in respect to the local community.

Evidence of persistent offending will lead to an enforcement response by South Wales Police.

If you are interested in participating in the Community Speed Watch in your area, or would like to know more about the scheme, please email Chief Inspector Daniel Howe with your name, address and phone number, or use the ""Contact Us" button below
